C&C Generals Slow Gameplay

Hi, whenever I play Command & Conquer Generals the gameplay is very slow. Everything moves real slow. I have played it at a friends house and his is very fast. I'm using Intel Celeron 1.4 GHz, 256 MB Ram, and an Onboard Graphics card. Could the graphics card be the problem?

Yea man i think your gonna have to get a better graph card. Also your CPU is holding u back. As u can see it has 1.8Ghz requirment.

generals is a very "power hungry" game it probably requires a bit more than it says if you want to run it smoothy with no problems.

from loking at you specs i think you may be lacking a bit of grunt in both ram and processor.

graphix card, ram, cpu would be the problem, just update those and your good

Well a 800MHz requirement But you are right about the videocard ... had Generals running on my P3-800 768MB GF2MX box and it was stupidly painful ... upgraded to GF4MX/GFX5200 and its actually more than passable at medium settings. Its not as CPU bound as one might think.
