C2D E6300 Temp Question

Hello all.

I was just wondering, why is my CPU1 temperature always higher than my CPU0 temp? I would have thought that CPU1 would be used majorly if CPU0 was maxed out? Also, It's not a problem that CPU1 is 3C or so over that of CPU0 is it? It's surprisingly very hot here for a change and my temps are around 50C under heavy load.

While I'm at it, my hdd temps, motherboard temps, processor temps and GPU temps never climb over 60C. That's good right?

The GPU temp at 60 is good, the other 2, not so much. And it seems to depend on what's using which core as my Core0 temperature is always 2C higher than my Core1 temperature.

Well today is a hot'ish day. Just checked my temps now using PC Wizard 07 and here was the outcome:

Those temps ok? Bare in mind that this is idle (net browsing only). I haven't played a game on it yet, I plan to do that in a minute and then take another screenshot after about an hour of gaming. For cooling I have the stock retail CPU cooler, 1 intake 120mm at the front of the case, an open vent on the side with no case and 1 outgoing 120mm at the back of the case.

Also, those voltages ok?

well i've got 35-37c when idle and 42-46c when high load, using the same processor. the cpu cooling look at my signature... thats the different.

Exactly the same temp but with stock cooling and I too use the same processor.
