are the core 2 duo prices still going donw this month or was it a lie?? im buildin my computer in may. i havnt been on this forum for a while n last time i was on i read a few time about the price drops so please let me know what the 36600 r dropping 2 and e6700 if they actual are dropping soon?

Unless your getting a processor thats more expensive then the E6600, theres not much point in waiting. Sure they will drop in price a bit, but is the drop from $183 for the E6300 to $150 really worth waiting almost a month?

Well since its so close, what's the sense of not waiting another 12 days for the price drop and introduction of the e6x20 processors. They will have 4mb cache and will be cheaper than the e6600.
