I have a splitter for my tv and internet. 50-1000mhz. I noticed that the splitter has a power pass connector. Is this ideal for my cable modem or my tv? The tv signal is all in high def. Which do i plug in and what is it for?

I am not sure, does not sound famillar. You probably should ask the tech support for who providded it. Evem if you get an answer here I would still give them a call. What is the make and model and I will see if i can find anything on it.
