Call Of Duty 4 SinglePlayer Campaign

I havent played a call of duty game before, but i heard good things about COD4 from other people, got the game for christmas and have one complaint...

Here it is... I've finished it... in fact i finished it at 4:32pm on boxing day, and i didnt exactly play it constantly, so all in all, ti must have been about 4-5 hours it took to complete single player campaign.

I'm not so sure about anyone else, but I thought this was very short, take the Half Life episodic releases, episode one took roughly 8-9 hours for a normal person to complete and it get's slated for being too short....

Was it just me?

Oh and its a brilliant game btw, loved it, the AI is awesome and the graphics are intense on this card
 
lol i remember back in the day when i thought quake 3 arena was the best game ever :D

i ended up finishing it in like 40 minutes. was pretty disappointed haha
 
dragon2309 why dont you give the [cf]clan server a go all the information is on the official clans sticky.
 
i did have a look, i dont usually like online multiplayer versions of games all that much, too much like hard work trying to keep up with actual people... and clans and public servers usually have people performing FAR better than i can play...
 
I was surprised at how quick I finished it as well. What setting did you play on though?

I'm playing again on the hardest now which is interesting to say the least lol

It recommended the one up from the easiest but i knocked it up to the 3rd setting... i think it was called Hardened or something like that, it was quite hard in some places, like near the beginning in that TV Station building, when you enter the large room with lots of cubicles and monitors in it, that one got me a few times...
 
[cf]clan is only a month old and needs people to take an interest its just good fun and not overly competative give it a go you might enjoy it.
 
yet another thing that puts me off FPS everytime, give me something that at least provides a decent length of gameplay in a single player campaign.

Amazingly, the first Halo PC game took me roughly 15-20 hours to finish :( Exciting and cool at the same time :D:P

(And I've played BF2 and COD4 demo, so I know what it's like too... Halo's graphics stink a bit though)
 
Wow you guys complete games fast I havent even beat the origina call of duty or even halo yet. The only pc game i have ever completed is test drive and it took me six months.
 
I know what you mean there, I'm playing through the half-Life's before I start Episode 2 so that I remember the story and Half-Life 2 took me forever and I finished Episode 1 in about 3 hours it was quite a letdown.
