Hello,
It would be cool to have software for caller id on my personal computer.
I would like the software to include
A pop-up display or balloon about the number and name, the option to write notes about numbers that are displayed when they call, recording features,
And blocklists and automatic telemarketers messages if possible.
Please let me know what works well. I am using Windows 7 64-bit.
Thanks,
Silekonn
P.S. Can you recommend a reliable voice modem? Newegg has a PCI-E model that is expensive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16825362009 and I am not aware of the company. Hardware from U.S. Robotics is known for reliability but they do not say 'voice' in the description: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2050400018 50001296&name=US Robotics . Is there a standard that represents this capability (e.g. V.92)?
