I've found this page:

And I believe if we all send an email with this URL and the instructions "Even if you don't know what this means, please forward it to all you know. If you do understand this, still do the same. We will bring back BTX!" to all we know, it will probably end up in the inbox of an Intel official. I personally loved the idea of BTX, and I believe it would be widely accepted among the computer building community if it were brought back. I will began emailing on 5-12-08 at 8:00 pm eastern time, or when the first reply of someone else to this thread saying they will start, or a PM saying likewise arrives, whichever happens first. "Good Night, and Good Luck."

While you are at it, why don't you bring back the following Rambus RAM. There is a reason it failed.

well if btx is brought back, it won't also bring back old tech. look at atx. the original atx design was used with computers in 1996, and now we have the Q6600 and SATA and PCIe and DDR3. If BTX is brought back, it will probably be updated to work with todays technology. But yes, I do understand you're point.

Heck, bring back the Amiga, it was far superior for it's time, imagine what they could have done today? However, BTX will fail because of costs and probably design issues. We had some BTX business class desktops at my old job and I don't really see any major advantage other than the lay out was a bit more streamlined, and the cost was more for them to make.

Beta Max was superior over VHS, but VHS was more practical and it won.

i kind of like the BTX design because of its ability to dissipate heat better from a standard video card. i really have no idea why vid cards on an ATX setup point down, maybe to keep the heat away from the CPU?

thank you:), thats why i like btx: much better cooling!!!

Now eveyone, please don't tell me i'm seriously the only one who's going to do this!?!?!

ok, for anyone else who wants to help, i have to postpone it till tommorow at the same time, but you all can start before me.
