When buying a webcam, I would avoid cheap Chinese knockoffs on eBay, even if they look really cool. Better to find a model that you like from a reliable brand like Logitech.

Yeah, this camera is the only one that has been confirmed for my uses though. I was kind of hoping someone would see it and be like "Oh I have that! Its the ...."

I want a usb camera that works with macs completely without needing to have a bunch of other programs and kexts. This one has been said to work perfectly, like plug-and-play. Most usb cams require macam and still won't work with iChat. And I need a semi-cheap camera, so I can't afford a 300 dollar iSwitch. (I think thats what they were called.)

They're all over ebay.
I'd recommend what the guy above said though, just find a $30 webcam from a known brand, google it's model number and see how easy it is to get working with a mac.

Thanks for pointing it out. I was doing some research, and it looks like the Xbox live cams work well. So I am going to try one out. Thanks for the help you guys.

I actually have a spare XBox Live webcam that I was going to throw on eBay. Interested?

Dang. If I had seen this in time, I would have been. But I just bought one today and have already opened it, so I can't return it. Thanks though.
And just for future reference, the XBox Live cam does work. Plug-and-play.
