Camera sounds on my computer?

Hey guys, I have a Dell Dimension 2400 I got it for college. It has windows xp pro on it. Service Pack 2 Pentium 4 768MB of RAM and 512 memory. I can't remember when this all started, it doesn't happen all of the time but when I'm viewing the web after the page loads I hear this shutter sound like someone/something is taking a picture of the websites I am viewing. I don't have a camera installed on this computer what so ever, so I'm thinking it may be spyware or something like that, but I ran everything I could think of to catch the culprit. I have E-trust internet antivirus/firewall/spyware installed on this computer. Any one know what I am talking about?

That's normal. A property of IE. Like, for me (back when I used IE), if I clicked back or forward, I would get the same click very shortly after. Not quite sure how to disable it. Should be in the options menu somewhere.

Go into "Sounds and Audio Device Properties", choose the sound tab, scroll down to "Start Navigation" that is the sound you are hearing.

You can disable this sound and save it under a new sound scheme.

LOL, love the "use Firefox" quote and the reply "I am" :D
