Can´t maximize media player!

Help needed!! For some reason I cant maximize my media player. It still works however and I can still play music from the bar in the bottom of the screen, but i can´t maximize it and play videos and change settings in media player. Tried to uninstall and reinstall but the issue remains. Anyone tried the same or anyone got any suggestions for problemsolving?? Hope you can help, tried anyone i know with no luck, so i´m really counting on this forum ;)

Im using xp and got sp2
 
No, for some reason nothing happens when I press resize?? Apparently I got a unique problem never encountered before :confused:
 
have you tried CTRL + ALT + DEL and then maximise from there? also is not somehow locked to only play on your taskbar?
 
tried that now, but still no effect. It maybe locked somehow, but how do I unlock it then? remember i can´t get into the meadia player and change settings..
Thanks for the suggestion though :)
