Can a bad Nvme cause graphics issues?

I had this old Nvme, but when I installed it into my motherboard the post light stayed at VGA, and there was no display out.
Is this common with bad Nvmes?

That's not graphics specific, that's the system failing POST.

Haven't seen one specifically throw a VGA error code though, but I have seen SATA drives exhibit similar behavior where the controller port was also dead.

I agree with Beers that it failed to post and may be from a bad nvme drive. If you remove the drive and you get video then its definitely something with the nvme.
