can a hacker enter my pc? i have zone alarm free antivirus & firewall. but i am using utorrent can a hacker get by just in through torrents?

No, but depending on your use of torrents, it can get you pretty badly infected and get you in trouble with the government.

Yeah, I think the answer to "Can X be Hacked" is always "Yes...yes it can".

However, if you protect yourself with a good antivirus/firewall and keep aware of what it is you are doing/clicking on, you should be okay.

You people kinda need to stop portraying hackers like holliwood does. To the question "can it be hacked" the answer is always yes only if this includes "the hacker could come in your house, kill your family and steal your passwords" or anything like that. For most of the connection and almost all registred software, if you ask "can someone hack it and make changes into my computer" The answer is 99% no.
In short.
No, no one could hack the torrent, unless you download viruses/malware using torrent.
 
ayan, any popular program will be prioritized by hackers when exploits are found. Especially networking programs like p2p. That is one of their methods to create large botnets. It happens and will continue to happen.

The keyword is: always keep your software updated. That can block many attacks.
 
thanks for the reply.. recently one of my emails had been hack. i also have a router. but i still feel that person still hacking. its not the torents im concerned about its just there are some info & other things in my pc i need to secure.

What email are you talking about? Yahoo, hotmail? If so, those accounts always get there password hacked and start sending spam emails.
