Can a live CD install Google Chrome and play Youtube?

CPU: Intel Core2 Quad CPU
RAM: DDR2 800 SDRAM 4G
GPU: On board Intel® G45
PSU: Liteon 6301-08Ak, replaced by RM650x for test
MB : G45T AM2 V:1.0
HDD: WD600BEVS Scorpio 60GB
BIOS:American Megatrends V.02.16

Had an accident the other day and had HDD burnt and MB damaged. DVD player is good. I want to play a live CD on the DVD player and go to YouTube for new and music. Not sure live CD can do that.
Can live CD download and install Google Chrome?
Can Google Chrome run normally on a live CD?

You can run a live copy of Linux off a DVD or USB and use a web browser to watch youtube, yes

Pretty easily, you could also use a USB drive which may have better seek time than optical media, also with the option of a small persistent storage.
