Can anybody help me built my rig w/ $1500

Can anybody select out parts for my rig with a $1500
My goal is to be able to play those new games that are coming out and those games such as Battlefield 2, fear, and far cry will everything at maximum.
This will be my first computer i wil build!

P.S im not that type of person who likes cheap stuff that dont last long

thats a good start. but with the left over money u shuld get like 2 gigs of corsair xms and if u can fit in and u want it, a raptor drive.

what about an SLi motherboard for the future, so he wont have to buy a really expensive card when his card becomes outdated, just buy another one and it will be cheaper by then. the corsair xms ram is a good idea.

SLI is overrated, overpriced and suffers from diminishing returns... any generation jump will more than cover the ground offered by SLI

Thats silly. Sorry, it just is. If you buy a SLI 7800GTX/512 now (which is, for argument sake, the best card now), a few months down the road the 7900GTX is gonna come out and stomp all over that ... so what are you gonna do, go buy SLI 7900GTX too? Sure some people can afford that, but if that were the case, we wouldnt be dealing with a $1500 box

thanks for the review praetor, but are you sure if the mobo good? especially for a newbie and a big gamer like me ?
