can anyone help me with history on my computer

everytime i go on my history has been deleted is there a setting that automatically deletes history?

Yes what browser are you using? Are you using CCleaner or any other softwares that cleans your computer from useless files?

CCLeaner gets rid of history. You can uncheck this option in the CLeaner menu.

so even though i dont run cc cleaner does it still remove my history

If you don't run it it doesn't gets rid of history. You might want to check your browser settings too. What browser are you using?

Browser is what you use to go on internet, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera...

Ok go to:

Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Option>Browsing history>settings and check your settings, especially the days which tells how much history you want to keep.

got 40 days in the folder to keep files but its not keeping them

internet exploer 6 i think as its telling me to upgrade to 7

Nope I don't think you have to pay.

Not sure if you are still running CCleaner but you have to uncheck two options. History for one and index.dat the other. Index.dat does just what it says and indexes your history files.
Obviously if you're not running it then IE6 seems to be the problem.
