AMD Athlon 64 X2 7550 Bundle including AMD Athlon 64 X2 7550 AMD Processor,
This is your processor... CPU... Main part that runs the computer. There are 2 major brands... AMD and Intel.

Asrock AM2+ N68C-S UCC mATX Motherboard and Heatsink and Fan

This is your motherboard.. It is what your CPU and other components plug into. AM2+ is your socket type, or what type of CPU will fit your board.

Crucial 2GB DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL6

This is your ram. Ram stores temporary information. 2gb is the amount. Standard now is 4-8gb

Seagate 500GB 3.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s Barracuda Hard Drive 7200RPM 16MB Cache

This is your hard drive. You store your pictures, music, games, documents and such on it. 500gb is the size of it.

LiteOn iHAS224 24x DVD±RW DL RAM & Lightscribe SATA Optical Drive - OEM Black

This is your cd/DVD drive. This drive will be able to burn CD's or DVDs

There is alot of upgrades that I would recommend, but to be honest, just for surfing the net and storing pictures, it should be fine.

Is there a certain amount you are willing to spend for a better computer?

SATA III is not needed on a Hard Drive.

Poor statement in my opinion.

The problem you have now is the flood and prices. Prices are all over the place. Same drive on tiger and newegg costs 74.99 and 84.99, tiger saves you $10. 250gb western digital sata 3 drive. I just bought this drive for a client which only has a sata 2 board and its pretty fast.

Hiya mate, i wouldnt pay £250 for that. My friend has just bought a much better spec pc off gumtree for the same price.

I dont know how close you are to manchester but there are some cracking deals on there lately.

It may be wise to have a look at your closest gumtree area to see what sort of pc you could get.

How is it a poor statement? HDDs can't utilize all of the bandwidth anyways, so getting it is just wasting $.

I have one doubt, That how much of hard disk that we use that much of ram we want to put its correct or not....Example if 160 hard disk have means for that we need 2GB RAM is correct or not,,,,If you low or high RAM what will happen can you explain?

You can run a 1TB drive on 512mb of RAM. They don't correlate. It will run slow, of course, but 2gb is enough for windows 7.
