Can anyone help?

Hi there,

I am having problems with the drop down menu's you get on sites. I was trying to book some train tickets online and it requires the drop down menu for the date you wish to travel etc and the time. However any site with any drop down menu will not work. Does anyone have any idea what this might be, it has been like this a few days now and it rather frustrating. I know very little about computers and have had nothing but bother with this computer from day one.

If anyone can shed any light as to what the drop down problem may be i would be most grateful.

I am on internet explorer will try and reinstall and see. I won't hold my breath as nothing is simple with this computer. It is happening on any website with drop down menu. If i tried to do my profile on here with drop down it would not let me.
 
is it blocking pop up adds? Sometimes pop up blockers will consider new windows pop up adds and block them. It can be annoying. Also, for grins try a different browser like firefox.
 
Thanks i have installed firefox and it is working now, well for now fingers crossed it will stay that way. Firefox seems so much quicker to, thanks alot for your help.
