Hi
In February I sent a Valentine's gift to my flatmate who doesn't know I would like us to be more than just friends (don't worry I'm building up to telling her). To keep my identity secret, I sent her the gift from an email address I had recently set up with a fake name so she didn't suspect me.
The only problem is that whenever that address receives an email it appears in the login screen when the computer is switched on!! There are 6 of us sharing one computer, there are 6 different users on the opening screen where we click and enter our password.
Whenever the address I set up gets a message it comes up on my user option and all you have to do is click on it and it reveals the email address!! This is BEFORE a user logs in so anyone in the house can see that the email address originated from me!
How can I remove this and stop its from appearing? I don't want her to know the gift came from me, at least not until I feel ready for her to know!

Help!! Thanks!

Not totally sure, but did you use a hotmail account?, You should be able to assign a different "Live ID", or something similar to your account- try going to Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and have a look around there.

I know there is a way to disable the "New messages" notice form appearing, I just can't remember how.
