Okay I am newbie and I am finally able to view and edit files and folders on my desktop from my laptop using my home network. Is it possible to execute an application on the Desktop and use it. In other words let's say I want to go into Outlook to reply to some emails from my laptop. My Desktop has the Inbox that I want to work with. Could you walk me through the steps I would take. Also, if possible is it easier to do all the applications on the hard drive of the desktop all at once versus individually. The reason I want to set things up this way is because I want the desktop always to be up to date with all of the work that I am doing whether I am inputting it directly or via the laptop. Thank you.
