Can I access military work email from home ?

Hi all. My husband is in the coast guard. We would like to know if there is a way to access his coast guard work email from our home computer from home.. I would really appreciate any info on this. Thanks!!

well ur question is kind of unclear. where is the email? is it a website, or is the mail through a closed network of computers at the base? need some more details.

I have a friend in the DoHS (ex coast guard), I'll find out, he's a supervisor... take a few days though...

Your answer is maybe. I'm in the Air Force and each base has it's own server and computer network. I'd be willing to guess that it's the same for the Coast Guard. Every base I've been to has had a public site where you are able to log on through Outlook and use what we call webmail. Some of the more secure places won't have the option though. Wish I could help you more, but I have never been in Comm.
