can i buy an micro sd card for my phone?

my phone uses micro sd card. and i was wondering if i could just buy any type of micro sd card, like lets say form best buy. or are the only compatibles ones the ones that they sell you in the provider store?
i have the razr v3t.

edit: and also, how do i find out what is the maximum amount of space that i can have on my card so my phone supports it?

I found a v3i on Newegg. I don't know the difference in the models, but that one can take up to a 512MB card. The manual should have exact specs.
 
on newegg theres a 1gb microsd card for 13.99 I plan on getting it for my phone but yes any microsd card will work(just make sure it's micro not mini they are different)
 
i don't know what phone company you have, but if you have verizon, you need to hack your firmware revision, or it'll be all but useless.

what are you talking about? I have a Verizon phone and there is no hack needed to use an sd card, are you talking about the manually formatting and creating the folders for cards over a gig?
 
i have the V3i and I have a 512MB Micro SD. Bare in mind, you drop you lose it! The things are about the same diameter as my baby finger (and I'm 15..)
