can i canabalise my old xbox?

hi
if i canabalised my old xbox and used the parts from it, would any of them be compatible with other computer parts etc? i.e can i save cash when building a new pc by using my old xbox, i havent got much clue about anythuing so advice would be greatly appreciated

I don't think you can use anything really. I think I heard something about the connections being different.
 
Well the hard drive is a normal pc hard drive, except its "locked", meaning that it will only work with YOUR xbox. Thats why you often see motherboard and hard drive (xbox) bundles rather then on their own. Im not too sure about how to unlock them, but there are plenty of guides on the net.

I believe the cpu is a P3 733 or something similar so i would presume that you can use it in a PC, but dont quote me on it.
 
Monkeysims, you're 14, ill assume you can understand what edit means. Well to give you a warning before a mod does, use it! dont put 4 posts ina row, within a matter of minutes of each other at that.

Go to www.imageshack.us and host a pic. Then it gives you a list of links, use the last one and wrap it in image tags which are
