I have an ASUS A53E laptop with "Intel HD Graphics" as my graphic card. I was wondering if you can replace/add a graphic card to this type of laptop.

The only way putting in an external card works is when you have a expresscard slot and the appropriate equipment, meaning at least about $400+ invested plus the cost of the video card. It is not worth it. You should have bought what you needed when you got the laptop.
