Can i change the cpu in laptop

Hi i have an acer aspire 5536g with a
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Processor QL 64 (2.1 ghz)

can i upgrade my processor or do i have to by a new computer to get a better processor in this computer?

You could upgrade the processor as long as you get one that supports the motherboard that the laptop currently has but it'll more than likely prove more troublesome installing a new one than the performance gains you will more than likely not notice. Laptop purchase is the better option in this situation.
