Your wired interface doesn't influence anything about the wifi radio in your router. Unless both the switch and the router support LACP then you'd be making a switching loop using both interfaces.

Aren't you already using the router on an uplink port? All of the ports should be synonymous bandwidth wise but there's no reason to consume a PoE port on a non-PoE device like your router.

Using one of the uplinks to your modem directly with the the other one to your router will bridge those broadcast domains which isn't that great.

Which segment did you place your cameras on? With a double NAT situation you generally can't reach back into the downstream device from the upstream device.

i think the problem was the router. i got a new router and skipped using any uplink ports, and now no problems.i don`t know if it`s a coincidence
that the router crapped out right after i connected the uplink to it, but i don`t think using any uplinks from the switch are going to benefit me.
