Can I get an old copy of MS Office?

I just got a new computer and it doesn't come with MS Office.

I don't want to pay anything.

I know about programs like Open Office, but is there a way to get an old copy of MS Office for free?

have you got a friend with an old key or even an install cd?that is the only way i know to get it free.as to how far back you can go,well im running office 2000 premium on windows 10 with no problems.for anything older than office 2010 you will need to download and run microsoft office 2007 compatibility pack for docx to work.

Why not just use libreoffice/OpenOffice?

It'd actually have more features than garbage like office 2003
