I have a $50 bugdet for a video card and psu at the moment. Instead of getting a $22 card and a $22 PSU, can I use the 300watt I already have and also use another 200watt together? Like, have the 200 power all my drives and the 300 power my mobo/cpu/video card? cause then, I could get a slightly better video card.

P.S. If this is possible, can't I just plug in the 200 watt outside the case and thread the molex connectors through and empty PCI slot? also, the answer to this question should be disregarding my electric bill...

I know it's a VERYsmall budget, but my onboard gpu is so horrible, it can't even use medium desktop effects on ubuntu. I guess I'm just being desprate. I guess I'll have to pull through with s3 unichrome graphics for another month...

LOL Nope The only thing close to that price range and needs 300w is the 8600gt.
