can I install windowss 8.164bit on my pentium 4


I have win 8 32 bit perfectly running on my Dell optiplex gx280.I have upgraded my system from 1gb ram to 4.5 GB ram.40 GB HDD to 1tb HDD.256 mob integrated graphics to nividia geforce 210 to 1 GB.processer is same pentium 4 2.8 GHz (2 cpus).but when I look in my system specs(dxdiag) its shows I am having only 3 GB of ram usable(1.5 gigs became waste).I know its because of my 32 bit system.and my graphics memory is 2.312 gigs.and my friend talked me that I am having only 1 GB dedicated graphics (2.312 was just for show)can I install win 8 64 bit.I googled on this.but I didn't get a pereffect answer.

If this is your CPU then it will support a 64 bit OS

Might want to confirm the model number of your CPU to make sure that I have the right chip.

Dell optiplex gx280 does not have Two cpu's, Those Only came out in workstations/Servers.
32 bit OS will only show 3.25 of ram, Anything over that you will need 64 bit OS..
