Can i place a mac Hard drive into a pc?

my old macbook that i required for school broke and the hard drive works and i can use it was an external hard drive and I wanna connect it to my pc which I can but would this work? I formatted it to Fat32

It should work fine . Windows is very comfortable with FAT32

I would reformat it to ntfs so you can use files over 4gb.
