Can I play Borderlands?

You guys are awesome thanks for the feedback. I'll see what I can do with it for now. Hopefully I can play it at somewhat enjoyable settings. If it plays/looks horrible I'll just wait a couple months. Also to respond to taking my rig out of the case, the GTS 250 requires a core2-duo and up to run I believe. In which case my Pentium D can't handle it I assume.

Actually guys I see that the 4350 is the way you're all going...does that mean that my 210 w/ 1 gig ddr3 has no real advantage over 4350 with 512 ddr2? Is it just not a deciding factor in this case or is dedicated video memory over 512 not a huge difference? Is it the fact that they're both 64 bit? What if I found a really cheap 128 bit...any chance of that performing better?

The only requirements for running a graphics card is having the right slot for it and enough power.

The 4350 is better because it is faster. That means it has a higher clock speed. It probably has faster ram too. I would check but I'm on my android

It also draws less power than a 210 does, which on such a low quality PSU can only be a good thing.

As for your memory question, the amount of VRAM on;y matters at higher resolutions. 512MB is enough for low res gaming, which is what you will be doing, you only really need 1GB+ when you start getting into higher resolutions with more detailed textures, which you certainly will not be doing because your card isn't powerful enough.

As to the requirements for your 250, no you do not need a C2D, you just need a PCIe slot, and enough power, which you don't have with your low wattage, poor quality unit
