I am putting a new motherboard in my computer, Can I reinstall windows with the dell cd that came with my computer even though it says for instalation on dell computers? thanks
i dont think you will be able to because the bios from dell/hp/etc have encoding and what not that matches disk encoding and if they dont meet then the install wont work, because i tried to do something along the same lines a few years back.
