Can I run a simple game?

I was looking to buy a super cheap desktop just so I can play one specific game, that game is Ijji's Soldier front. Before I buy it I want to be sure it can run this game. This one http://www.staples.com/HP-Pavilion-...422268&CID=AFF%3A4003003%3A4003003%3A10422268 looked perfect but the customer review says there is no media. I'm not great with computers so I'm not sure what EXACTLY that means. Could you just tell me if you think it could run a simple online FPS. Basically the same as counter-strike. Or point out any flaws you see. Thanks.

HP-Pavilion-Slimline-s5-1020-Desktop-PC, that's the computer. Just had it from staples because that's where it's the cheapest :p

Yup, you'll be able to run it without any problems. Here's the system requirements taken from the game's website:

"No media" means you simply download the game to your PC.

If you have an internet connection, which by your very post here intimates you have, then you have no problem.

"No Media" means it doesn't come on a cd/dvd disk mate.

You would need to install MS Word which can be either part of Office or as a stand alone application but you will need an optical drive which that machine has.

you can run it on the web via SkyDrive too. No install necessary.

K I think I've confused everyone including myself. So, please give me an example of something I wouldn't be able to do on this computer.

This SkyDrive routine might be ok Mep but it doesn't give a person total control in my opinion.

5/7 you have a DVD drive in that machine so therefore you can install applications that come on a dvd/cd disk.

Make Toast.

Cuddle you at night.

A better question might be "I want to run X on this PC, (the specifications have already been listed), can I do it?"

Name the program and we will tell you if it can be run or not.

Fair enough. I'll list problems I have with my current LAPTOP and we'll see if this computer has them. It overheats constantly although I'm sure you guys can't know if this desktop will. It uses an abundance of energy (raised my energy bill $140......) It's extremely slow for no apparent reason (3gb ddr3) It's cpu usage is always above 70 I don't know why. That's all I can think of now -.- Maybe we can hit 2 birds with one stone and you can fill me in why my dv6700 does this crap to me? Oh, also when I reset it to factory settings (completely blanks disks except what was preinstalled) it still runs slow!

A year and a half. There was a battery recall for my model because it would overheat a lot and they would give you a free one, but I entered my serial number and everything and they said I wasn't included

try lifting it off of a flat surface some how to make sure you aren't blocking the air vents, as that is the most common thing people do to laptops and that'll screw it up fast. also go to task manager, cntrl alt del, and then in the processes tab sort by the cpu usage and tell us all the things above 20 as that's what my internet explorer is using now, which its processor is actually better then mine now, and do use it while plugged in or not, since that takes it out of battery saver mode and puts it at full power
