specs:

amd phenom II x4 965 black edition
ati radeon 4670 1gb
2 gb ram possibly 4 or 3


i really need to know, i know the beta is coming out soon, but i might not be able to order the parts in time. if someone can help me, if they have a 4670 or similar, could they play the beat for it.

Your CPU is up to par. But your video card and RAM are a little too low to get any good settings on it. My 4670 in my other build struggled through BF2:BC.

It is included in the minimum requirements, but you'll be playing on the lowest settings. What is your budget for a video card? And what power supply do you have?
 
im getting the OCZ fatal1ty 750w, and i really dont have a budget for a new graphics card atm, but i play bad company 2 fine on medium settings. if i havr to play battlefield 3 on lowest settings with config tweaks at 60 frames, then frankly i really dont give a crap. i play for the game, not the looks :D
 
ya i really don't worry about graphics, i mean ive been playing cod4 mw2 and lots of other games on a single core for the past year or so at 30 frames. ya i think i'll live :D
 
BF3 recommended requirements is 6850 or gtx460. A quad core cpu but a 2 ghz dual core should work fine, with 2gb of memory minimum with recommended being 4gb.

Don't know why it says I don't meet minimum specs when the 6870 is more than enough to run it.
