Can i turn on a p/s with no motherboard?

I have a spare power supply that i want to use for a application outside of a computer. Is it possible to get it to work without a m/b? Thanks.

There's the jump method as mentioned above or I've seen little things you can purchase to turn on and test power supplies. Though I guess it'd be easy enough to rig up a little switch of your own
