Can I upgrade my CPU?

I was just speaking with someone at work about this. You should be able to use a Pentium M 700 (or whatever the 2.13GHz model is). I cant say for sure, but I'd imagine it'd work as long as you have the latest bios loaded.

Pentium M 770. Thanks, looking into it. Would it be a significant difference from my 1.7 GHz?

No, i don't think it would be worth it. If it was a 20 heck maybbbee 30$ i would do it, anything over that i would pass.

Sorry if this is out of line but if you want snappyness buy/build a new i5/i7 desktop and keep the laptop as a portable machine. You should notice the difference then :D

Well, considering that would be a whole new computer, I would say it would be different... haha

Hey I would consider the pin-mod for whoever you were talking to at work. I will try it tomorrow and see how it works.
