thanks for any help

What are your current specs. Upgrading a laptop usually doesn't really happen, a novice user can upgrade RAM and possibly the HDD by them self, but that's really it.

Crysis on a laptop would be UNREAL.

But no, you can't upgrade anything but HD or RAM.

Laptops were not made, or never will be made to be meant for games (for a reasonable price at least; you can shell out $3500 for an overheating machine)

Gaming laptops can get 30-40fps with crysis. There is no way your laptop will ever play a game like that, it has integrated graphics which are soldered to the motherboard, thus making an upgrade impossible.

Ya, you can upgrade the CPU, you can as well.. Upgrade the video card, yours appears to have a card and not a Chip.. which makes it upgradeable..and you would also have to add the max allowed ram..
changing the CPU is not that difficult.. and the Service manual for your Laptop will show you how to get to it..make sure to reapply thermal tape or paste if planning to switch out the cpu though..
the Service manual will also tell you what you are able to upgrade to as well....
So hunt one down on Google, or look thru your own..

You can upgrade the processor, the video daughtercard, the LCD panel if you are really adventurous - and if you are an extreme adventurous, try upgrading the whole motherboard - however, it would probably equal the cost of a new system. Just stick with the hard drive, optical drive, RAM, and {maybe} the LCD and the processor.
