Hi, I was looking to upgrade my PowerBook to Leopard and I saw on eBay someone selling Leopard and saying it's only been installed once. Is it like Windows and you can only install it to one computer? Or will I be able to use it as if it were new?

Apple posts all their legal docs and EULAs online, and yes, the EULA clearly states that if you purchase a copy of Leopard you are allowed to install it on any one single apple branded copy. Unless you buy the family license copy, which allows you to install that one copy on 5 machines.

Oh, so that's the difference between single user and family, hehe, I'm knew to Macs so everything's news to me
