Can I use this case for my older hardware?

yes it will work

Once again and i quote dont answer if you dont know what you are talking about lovely?... Be very careful most dell stock motherboards are not labeled and use as strange as it sounds ribbon type cables for the power supply's not individual like most new mobo's use. Check into it first i had to spend like 2 hours on dell's site one day until i finally found the wiring and found a loophole in how to use my power button on my new case with teh old mobo which i replaced like 2 weeks later. Dell is a bitch sometimes...

I just checked my current setup and it is infact the ribbon it uses for power? What do most new cases use for a power plug? Can you help me out with figuring out how to power up my computer another way without the ribbon?

The sad thing is dell does this with a lot of their stuff so you cant easily convert their stuff to your own. Thats part of what i moved my stuff to another mobo. Look into dell's site for the manual for this one like support.dell.com and see if they have the wiring on there. I had to individually email and call dell for the setup of the ribbon cable.

I'm not talking about the PSU i'm talking about the power button on the front of the case to turn it on and off. The button uses ribbon cables and your newer cases will use individual pins to connect and you dont have the diagram you need from dell to know which are which to plug the individual into.

If I got the case do you think there would be a spot that I could connect the power button to the mobo?
