can it be used as a modern laptop?

ok, i dont want to have to go to putting this laptop on a table, raising it up to get struck by lightning, for it to work... Only if i have to.


Anyways.
Its a Dell latitude CPi.
has windows professional 2000.
uses an ethernet card to connect. doesnt work with ethernet atm, might be missing something.
anyways, i need to know.
Can i upgrade this to have it be semi-modern.
nothing extreme, just basic internet, maybe help program some stuff.

but yeah.

if it came with a 4gb harddrive i would imagine its a 166mhz-300mhz celeron, pentium or PII processor with 16mb-32mb ram...
basically.
you cant upgrade this one to todays standards, not a hope in hell.
