Hi,
I posted earlier with a problem. I've since formatted my hardrive and reinstalled Windows 2000. But now I can only display 16 colours and the resolution only goes up to 640x800. I reckon I need to install new drivers but I can't find the model number on the motherboard. I know its an onboard 8mb. Any help would be much appreciated. :(
Thanks, Victor

Enter the BIOS at bootup, it should tell you the make and model of your mobo in there.

EDIT: also some tell you in the System Information found in Start> All programs> Accessories> System tools
Should be under BIOS Version.

Nope couldn't find it on either, under BIOS version it only says "Pheonix - AwardBIOS v. 6.00pg" and under display it says "No display information" I only found out that my system model is VIA VT8365.

Do you not know anything about the computer? It's make or model? Sometimes WCPUID will show you what video card you have without a driver if you don't have any other options.

Okay, I used Aida32 and found out my Video adapter is a
Trident Cyberblade-i7, I looked for drivers and could only find listed for AGP. I know mines onboard, is that the right one? And could someone maybe give me a link to the drivers?
Thanks guys,
Victor

Thanks for the help ghostfacesuk. I have Windows 2000 and I see that the supported operating systems are win95, 98 and 98SE, will that make a difference?
Thanks again,
Victor :D
