This computer seems to be really good becuz im not going to build one.
Will this be cool for playing shogun 2 and doing some moderate video editing? I need atleastttt high settings if not very high on shogun

I want to order this as soon as a can, so if someone who knows what their talking about could just confirm this setup, it would be great..Anybody?

Is there anyway to get the specs of the psu they will be using? You really want to be careful about using house brand psu's.

What PSU is that? Never heard of that brand.

How much is the total set-up? Where are you from?

Consider this

Only thing you need to do is change PSU to Corsair to 650W TX, and add OS.

Wireless adaptor - I recommend USB than PCI. you can always place the usb to a better position for a better signal.

I cant find any specs on the psu. Its THe velocity micro brand psu. For a not built computer this seems to be the best performer i can get for the price range. It has alot of awards and the cnet review truly recomends the computer over what its compared to Dell XPS 8300 cuz it beat it in almost every single test. If i upgrade the psu to the 850 Watt Velocity Micro® Power Supply - Nvidia® SLI™ Certified it will cost 100$ more! And i have heard awful awful awful things about cyberpower and ibuypower computers will some but few great reviews. Will this be good to buy, and provide optimal gaming for the price without building?

Could anyone who knows what their talking about just tell me if everything here is going to work togethter and if this setup makes sense to buy? Plzz..

I too was looking to buy a PC and am looking at the Z40 with almost the same configuration. The only difference was I was going to get 8GB memory and stick with the standard cooler.

I originally decided to get the Dell XPS 8300 but there is currently some unknown problem with the USB 3.0 on the Dell and they removed it from the PC and I can't get anyone at Dell to tell me why or when it will be back. After trying to get any help from them and dealing with their support I started looking at the Z40. The only thing stopping me is the Dell is much cheaper if you configure the Z40 as close as possible to the Dell, about $500.
The Dell has the following features:
I7-2600 3.4Ghz
8GB Ram
1TB harddrive
Blu-ray reader, DVD burner combo drive
ATI Radeon 5770
Bose Companion 2 Series II Multimedia Speakers
Wireless N card
No Monitor
450watt power supply
2 year service with onsite
The system total is $1512.98 - $512.99 standard discount
Then if you use the coupon code LM?BF7P$FR9KCK you get $100 off
Then if you use the coupon code HLSKSR06S9ZG0F you get free shipping
Dell Charges tax to NY so the grand total is $1188.39

On the Velocity Micro z40 using the i5-2500 overclocked CNET review says it gives better performance in most benchmarks. It does draw more power so it will make more heat and lower to life compared to the i7-2600 but I can live with that. The Micro z40 is $70 more for a blu-ray reader like the Dell. I don't need speakers but the Dell speakers cost $85 at Amazon so that would be nice to have. The z40 only comes with a 1 year warranty and there is no onsite, it is $169 to add that coverage. So if I give up the speakers, blu-ray, warranty and go with the Z40 to get USB 3.0 and 550W power supply instead of the Dell 450Watt the Z40 comes to $1198 with shipping. At this point I want to get the Velocity Micro but want them to throw something in like free shipping or anything to sway me over but they won't budge. I will have to try again.
