Hi , my mother uses a hp p6 series , the computer is located in her study room and connects to the homes wifi via this mini adapter (not exactly sure what it's exact name is , but I attached a photo) it is attached via a small cable which itself is attached somewhere inside her motherboard ..one day she happened to be vacuuming and accidenenty tripped the tower over and needless to say this thing whole thing came apart , I opened up her tower but have no idea where it might go ..any suggestions or perhaps someone can push me in the right direction ?

All help would be appreciated , thanks

Additionally I'd like to add a photo of the actual connecting area , its just a tiny little hook and it makes it appear as though it might be like finding a needle in a haystack

Is there a WiFi card inside the computer? It looks like it would plug onto that instead of the motherboard. Hopefully that drastically reduces the search area.

First picture - square card with two wires running over it, dead center of your fans and PSU. That looks like it could be some sort of WiFi adapter. Start there. There's a close-up shot of it in the last picture.

I really can't thank you enough that's exactly where it went

And after a few tries I was able to snap it back in its tiny socket

Thank you again !
