I recently purchased a used computer, and I have been having some problems with the computer. I was told that it could be a motherboard issue, but I would rather someone of expertise to help me get an idea before paying a load of money just to troubleshoot the problem.
1-It is a Hewlitt Packard 2007 Lap top
2-The base of the computer will start up, but nothing will show on the screen
3-Sometimes it will flicker on and off, and sounds weak
I have had it viewed, but the people did not troubleshoot the cpu. I was only told that it was the mother board. As I said before the cpu itself will start up, but nothing will show on the screen, and it appears to become weak after it starts.
What does it sound like to you it could be?
