I am trying to make youtube videos with fraps. I made a few months back and i had no problems, i would record, drag to movie maker, edit, done. Now its a different story. I drag the footage in and all i see is black, and i can hear the sound. I can see the video in the story board but it wont play. I tried converting it with divx but it says codec not found. Can someone seriously help me out?

What are you trying to edit the video with?

It's probably Windows Movie Maker...

If you do not see the image,you need codec(s) for those video types to see their picture...

Install XVID video codec and then try to convert your videos in the XVID MPEG4 codec using let's say VirtualDub and after that load them in the Windows Movie Maker.

I tried using divx but it didnt work, i also tried virtualdub but i couldnt figure out how to get it to work.
