Ok I sold this kid my Pci-e video card, then he calls me telling me it doesn't fit...
I put on the ad that it is Pci-e, and he buys it with confidence. Later calls and says he has Pci, and wants his money back. Im not an asshole but I sold as is. Nothing wrong with the card, its a bargain for the price I sold it for.

Would you refund?

Are there adapters for this?

I have searched and found weird looking adapters.

Yeah agree, as long as y ou specifically said PCIe , then that kid simply didn't know what he was buying and now finds out that his computer is too old. Bad luck, its now up to him to sell it.

Yep agreed with the other 2. He saw what he was buying, you said clearly what he was buying, he was stupid for not reading up on it and researching into his own system first.

As to adapters, no, there aren't, unless he has a PCIe 1x socket on his motherboard. Then he can use one of these:

but, depending on what card it is, chances are it isn't going to run anywhere near full speed at all.

He may not even need the adapter if he has a pcie 1x slot though, he may be able to just slot it straight in, however that may mean hacking off the plastic around the PCIe lane to get it to fit
