After the upgrade, is there option/facility to create recovery discs just in case I need to do a clean reinstall?

Great. I'll do that. Would this download work for multiple, but different brand, machines, or that I have to download one for each?

It's an ISO for the base Windows installer, doesn't have any vendor dependencies or anything. You should just be able to use the burned DVD or the created flash drive on any system.

I think you mentioned something like "key" on my other thread. Do I need a key with the ISO? And can I use the ISO to clean install my Asus X205T?
Thanks.

I'd just downloaded the ios file.

According to MS, you'll need a key (purchased) to install clean from the ISO.

Once you upgrade to 10 the original OS license key becomes bonded to windows 10 but you have 30 days to downgrade back to your previous OS.

I am relying on Macrium Image. I find it far more convenient than clean install. The hours that need to reinstall all the updates and application. Not to mention the data is a few hours, or few days, out of sync.
