Can you help me find cheap2GB DDR2 800mghz RAM?

It depands on what you mean by "cheap"? Cheap price or cheap brand? For about $83.49 plus S&H you can grab 2gb of Kingston DDR2 800 memory seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134488
These have a Cas latency of 5 for the 1.8v memory kit seen there. The make and model board will help and crap memory would spell problems. The Kingston 2gb kit was the best priced for a good brand while Mushkin is another good name seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010170147+1052416064+1052308477+4027&name=%2475+-+%24100
EBay often means used as well as some vendors selling clearance items there. The bids start out low and then climb and sell to the highest bid. You won't see good return policy on anything used and faulty there however.

Read the question a little more and you will see 2gb not 1gb is the amount of memory being planned there. 2gb of mxs series ram will go over $100 easily as seen for the lowest at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145590 of all 2gb kits seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...01666+1052416064+1052308477&name=2GB+(2+x+1GB) Some going over $400!

why can't you look it up on ebay? once i saw 2 GB ddr2 800 were only sold for 65 dollars.
