I am thinking yes you can, but not sure

What i am wanting to do is istall windows 98 or my original windows xp cd ( not the 64 bit verson ) on my new pc

anyone know the right answer?

I don't see any problems occuring. Win XP without a doubt and Win 98 should theoretically be okay with it.

A 64 bit CPU is only running in 64 bit mode if using a 64 bit OS. While in 32 bit Windows, it will run at 32 bit even though it's a 64 bit CPU. You will be all set.

Thanks alot dudes, thats the answer i was looking for. means i dont need to buy windows xp again. cheers
