Can you make a directory look like a floppy drive?

Help...
I have a bunch of old software like Quattro Pro and Generic CAD that I want to install on my XP Windows platform. My laptop does not have a floppy drive, however, I DOS copied the install floppies into their own separate directories on my desktop and transfered them to my laptop via a memory stick.

QUESTION?

How can I run the install BAT file located in the 1st floppy directoryand make it look at the other pseudo "floppy directories" instead of seeking the "A" drive which does not exist?

OR should I just lump all the files into one directory and run the Install.bat file?

Thanks

Modify the installation batch files to point to the directory intead of A:\. If that doesn't work you can buy an external floppy drive for around 50-100 dollars. The external drive would be nearly guaranteed to work.
