Chaintech SE6600 GeForce 6600 256MB DDR PCI Express x16 Video Card

I run a P4 3.0ghz, 1.5gb, 150gb raptor Hdd, on a Asus P5RD1-VM LGA 775 ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard.

I wanna do some video editing and was wondering if my pc will play it well.

If you want good video editing a P4 isn't the best. an overcocked Core 2 Duo like mine works wonders! Very fast! Faster CPU = faster data transfer = job done better and faster = happy.

umm 6600 isnt that great... might wanna go 7600 gt or something. p4 3ghz is actually quiete fine.

i went from a 9200 se to a 850 pro. its a world of difference

in video editing? I dont think the GPU makes too much of a difference...CPU does for large files. a few hundred megabytes at a time transfer speed is all about the CPU and HDD.

I have that same card, and am a "severe" gamer hehe, it works fine for me. I wouldnt see a problem on your end.

In your signature it says that you have 6600LE, and 6600LE is not the same as 6600. 6600LE has 4 pixel pipeline but 6600 has 8 pixel pipeline.

A P4 will do fine with video editing. Hell, about 4 years ago I was video editing on a 566mhz Celeron. The only difference is that it will take longer, quality is the same. Video card doesn't really matter either. Your comp looks like it will handle it just fine.
